Fee Structure

 

Hourly Billing
Fees are calculated based on the hourly rate for the services provided and the total time spent on your case. We will provide you with a detailed billing statement reflecting all work performed on your matter.

Flat Fees
After consultation, we may offer a fixed legal fee. Based on the agreed scope of services in the contract, no additional attorney’s fees will be charged.

Contingency Fee Basis
For certain types of cases, such as personal injury matters, we may represent clients on a contingency fee basis. Under this arrangement, attorney’s fees are only collected if there is a successful recovery (through settlement or judgment). The fee will be a percentage of the recovery amount, as agreed upon in advance. If there is no recovery, no attorney’s fees will be charged. Clients may still be responsible for certain case-related costs as outlined below.

Additional / Third-Party Costs
These fees are not included in attorney’s fees. They may include government filing fees, court fees, translation fees, travel expenses, and other third-party costs such as expert witnesses (e.g., psychologists, accountants, etc.).
These costs depend on the specifics of each case and may not apply to every matter. Such expenses are typically required to be paid in advance. If the attorney advances these costs on your behalf, reimbursement will be required.

We require an advance payment (retainer) before commencing work. We will also inform you of the method for making such payments. In addition, we will periodically provide billing statements showing your fees and payments. While we strive to handle each case efficiently, the scope of work and complexity of each matter are not entirely within our control. Therefore, fees may vary from case to case. If additional services beyond the agreed scope are required, they will be discussed with you in advance.

 

Payment Methods​

​​We accept multiple payment methods. Please see our detailed payment options. Apart from the consultation fee and without the attorney’s prior consent, all other fees will incur a 3% service fee charge if clients pay by credit card. If you are using a credit card, we will send a payment link through LawPay, and you may directly post payment online. If you are paying via a money transfer, please send us a screenshot so that we may confirm the receipt of payment. Unless by special request, we will send the receipt through email.
